Desiccant Dehumidifier Bathroom Drying Guide & Tips

a bathroom with a dehumidifier

This rather chilly time of year can be tough for many, especially those of us in Australia's cooler-climate areas like Southern New South Wales, rural Victoria, Melbourne, Hobart & Adelaide to name a few. During the winter season, the idea of taking a shower in this cold, damp weather can be especially dreadful! It's times like this where your Ausclimate Dehumidifier can be your best friend to dry that cold-damp bathroom moisture right out of there & really take the chill off!

Throughout the year, our bathrooms can prove a terrible spot for the accumulation of moisture and condensation, often resulting in musty smells and even mould. If you don't have a good amount of natural ventilation or a bathroom exhaust fan, this can fast become a problem. With no other place to go, the steam & moisture from our showers can go straight into our wall and roof fixtures with nasty results! This can become especially evident in these colder, damp winter months.

Rest assured, this can be the perfect job for your Ausclimate Cool-Seasons Desiccant Dehumidifier! These units are purpose-designed for cooler climate use and will actively suck the moisture right out of your bathroom air after your shower. This will remove condensation from your mirrors, windows & wall and even dry your towel afterwards. Regular use will leave your bathroom fresh & dry, no more musty smells, mould & condensation!

As an added bonus, try turning it on 10-15 minutes before your shower when you have your 'morning cuppa' to really take some of the chill off of the room.

Quick Tips:
• Turn your desiccant dehumidifier on 10 - 15 mins before your shower (good time for a cuppa )
• Set it to 'Laundry Mode', 'Turbo' fan speed (best setting for winter time during these cold chilly mornings)
• Continue to operate whilst in shower & leave running for approximately 30 mins after your shower
